Chef's Own™ Tempura Batter
600 ml

Preparation
1. Slice the cleaned calamari into 2-4 mm rings, cut the tentacle in half. Season the calamari with salt/white pepper & cayenne pepper.
2. Dust the calamari with
Chef's Own™ Pre-Dust
. (Step 1)
3. Dissolve
Chef's Own™ Tempura Batter
in cold water. Allow batter to rest for 10 minutes, dip the calamari one by one into the batter. (Step 2)
4. Deep fry the calamari at 160°C for 3-4 min & sprinkle some of the batter over the calamari while frying to get extra crispy edges.
